Snowbunnies add a festive touch to the kitchen shelves and windowsills in early spring. With pansies in the windowboxes outside as a backdrop, the Snowbunnies on the sills are especially festive.

Springtime Crocuses

The ‘Tommy’ crocuses in the Medicine Wheel were in full bloom today.

This is a mix of Crocus tommasinianus species and “Ruby Giant.” They are a little smaller than the typical crocus, but what is especially drawing is that for some reason the squirrels don’t bother them. They “deadhead” all of the other crocuses as soon as they start to bloom.
